Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to design and maintain software solutions in accordance with agile methodologies.
• Create applications prioritizing simplicity, scalability, reliability, performance, extensibility, and reusability.
• Follow and enforce coding standards and best practices, participate in code reviews to ensure consistency.
• Engage in sprint planning to allocate story points and commit to weekly deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and testing infrastructures.
• Design and implement highly responsive web interfaces for microservices-based applications, leveraging the latest UI/UX development tools and techniques.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Support creation and upkeep of technical documentation and training materials.
• Assist in IT program metrics definition, data quality assessment, strategic analysis, and forecast generation.
• Contribute to project timeline development, implementation design specifications, system diagrams, testing, and ongoing support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Practical experience in TypeScript, Node.js, front-end frameworks such as Angular and React, and back-end Node.js frameworks.
• Working knowledge of web services including SOAP, RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases; experience with AWS DynamoDB preferred.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and DevOps principles.
• Ability to identify and implement reusable components.
• Knowledge of IT standards, software development life cycle, and project management frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, etc.
• Competence in designing solutions using AWS services; AWS SDK knowledge is a bonus.
• Must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance and have resided in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Preferred Experience

• Over 2 years working with React and/or Express.js frameworks.
• Experience using Jest testing framework and API mocking with MSW.
• Familiarity with the AWS SDK for JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Java frameworks.
• Understanding of CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processes, standards, and design systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 4 years software development experience.
