Role overview
Serco, working in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is inviting applications from General Practitioners who want to contribute to the health and wellbeing of serving Defence personnel across Australia. This opportunity offers a distinct style of practice focused on purpose, balance, and support, with the added benefit of not having to deal with Medicare billing requirements.

Opportunities are available at Defence bases across Australia, including metropolitan and regional sites. Depending on your preference, you may stay in one location or take advantage of travel and locum-style work.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Either FRACGP, FACRRM, or vocational registration
- At least 2 years of full-time post-graduate experience as a general practitioner in a general practice setting within the last 5 years, or an equivalent part-time workload
- Australian citizenship, which is required for Defence health contracts
