Role Overview
The Graphic Designer position located in Melbourne, FL, is a full-time role responsible for developing creative visual concepts for signage, graphics, digital displays, and marketing materials aligned with client brand standards and project requirements. This involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand needs, designing and preparing production-ready files, ensuring quality and accuracy, and liaising with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure feasible and timely delivery. Additional duties include updating designs, proof preparation, and supporting branding initiatives at local and regional levels.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in graphic design for printed and digital media.
- Skill in graphics and logo design to create distinctive brand visuals and signage elements.
- Strong knowledge of branding to ensure consistent visual identity across touchpoints.
- Good understanding of typography for readability and effective brand communication.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or equivalents.
- Ability to interpret client briefs, multitask across projects, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with competence in preparing files suitable for production, aware of print and signage manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with various departments and clients.
- Educational background or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in signage, printing, or visual communications environments is advantageous.
