Role Overview
An established luxury hospitality group is hiring a seasoned Guest Relations Manager for one of its premier dining venues in Doha. This role suits a polished, self-assured hospitality professional who can excel in a busy, high-pressure setting while consistently delivering refined guest experiences.
The position calls for someone who can shape every guest interaction to meet premium luxury standards, handle sensitive situations with tact, and make decisions with calm judgement and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the guest relations operation and ensure service delivery creates memorable experiences.
- Greet and host VIP visitors while making sure all VIP procedures and service expectations are followed precisely.
- Address guest comments, complaints, and difficult situations with discretion, confidence, and professionalism.
- Work through complex concerns and convert difficult moments into positive guest outcomes.
- Maintain composure during busy service periods and under intense pressure.
- Coordinate closely with the management team to keep communication smooth across all front-of-house functions.
- Develop strong rapport with repeat guests and create excellent first impressions for first-time visitors.
- Respond to guest questions by phone and email in a courteous, prompt, and personable way.
- Assist with reservations and keep guest profiles and preferences updated accurately.
- Look for ways to improve the guest journey continuously while protecting top-tier luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Prior background as a Guest Relations Manager or in a comparable guest-facing leadership position in luxury hospitality.
- Strong ability to resolve conflict and solve problems while staying calm and composed.
- Self-assured and resilient personality, capable of managing demanding situations and high-profile guests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience handling VIP guests and following VIP service protocols.
- Professional telephone manner and strong written communication abilities.
- Proven performance in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Genuine commitment to exceptional guest service and strong attention to detail.
