About the Role

Speedy is the UK’s foremost provider of hire equipment and support services, offering a wide selection of tools, specialist machinery, and plant for diverse jobs. We are currently recruiting for the position of Hire Controller located in our Edinburgh depot.

This position involves critical operational responsibilities where you act as a pivotal connection in managing the hire process from order placement through delivery and collection. Your role demands robust relationship management skills and continuous coordination with various departments including stock teams, drivers, and engineers to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction.

Working Hours & Compensation

The role requires working Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, totaling 42 hours weekly. The annual salary is £29,572, prorated as applicable.

Competency gained from previous experience in the hire industry or related sales/operations roles.
