Role Overview
Join Specsavers as a Home Visits Optical Assistant and take your optical expertise on the road. This position involves providing eye care to individuals unable to visit stores by delivering services directly to their homes. It offers a mix of clinical care and community interaction, making each day unique as you operate across diverse locations within the region.
Responsibilities
- Deliver eye care services to patients unable to attend retail outlets.
- Operate across various locations within a region extending from Romford to Colchester and Bishop's Stortford to Southend-on-Sea.
- Ensure professional dispensing of lenses at all levels during home visits.
- Adapt to varied working environments and daily locations, maintaining high quality of service.
Requirements
- Possess current or recent experience in optics, with at least 6 months to 1 year of practice.
- Competence in dispensing lenses across all levels.
- Hold a full UK driving licence, essential for regional travel.
Additional Desired Experience
- Background in fast-paced customer service roles.
- Previous exposure to the optical sector beyond dispensing duties.

Location and Travel
