Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HR Partner for a temporary contract within the arts and culture sector based in Dublin City Centre. This full-time position (35 hours per week) runs for three months with an immediate start, offering a pro-rata salary aligned with an Executive Officer level (€38,803 per annum). The role mainly requires on-site presence and demands flexibility, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with line managers on workforce planning, learning and development, and general HR concerns.
  • Assist in enforcing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to retain and attract talent aligned with strategic goals.
  • Manage employee relations by ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant resolutions that foster positive industrial relationships.
  • Handle core HR functions including personnel records updating for salary, probation, leave types, and organizational charts maintenance.
  • Support recruitment activities, such as drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting competency interviews, and coordinating onboarding procedures.
  • Develop and update HR policies to ensure compliance and best practice adherence.
  • Collect, analyze, and report HR data and metrics to inform stakeholders.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle events, including exit interviews and coordination with payroll and pensions for retiring staff.
  • Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and facilitate continuous learning and development.
  • Maintain confidentiality with high professionalism and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 8 QQI qualification or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Employment Law, Business, or related fields.
  • CIPD chartered membership is advantageous.
