Overview
Muhammad Ali Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical assistance to business clients based in Germany. This freelance / B2B opportunity requires prompt start and focuses on delivering effective Level 1 and Level 2 support.
Key Duties
- Offer direct onsite IT support for Windows and macOS environments.
- Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Set up and configure user workstations, accounts, email services, and peripherals.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms, including user and license management, mailboxes.
- Troubleshoot common networking problems such as Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and printer connectivity.
- Handle support tickets ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution.
- Maintain clear documentation of problem resolutions and keep client records current.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in IT support roles, helpdesk, or desktop support.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues within Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience using ticketing systems for managing support issues.
- Proficient in German and English communication, both written and spoken, for client interaction.
- Capability to work independently, reliably, and manage one's own workload.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL are advantageous.
- Legal authorization to work in Germany is mandatory.
