Job Overview

We are actively seeking a Janitor responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of designated areas within one or multiple client facilities. Tasks vary according to client specifications, requiring adaptability and a thorough approach to janitorial duties.

Work Schedule & Compensation

This is a day shift role with working hours from 6 AM to 11 AM, Monday through Sunday. Compensation is set at $13 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Apply proper methods and safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Ensure restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways are clean and presentable.
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal, including use of compactors when necessary.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors with suitable cleaning agents and tools.
• Perform spot cleaning of carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing as needed.
• Restock paper goods and sanitation supplies regularly.
• Follow an organized housekeeping schedule diligently.
• Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Carry out other janitorial tasks as assigned, tailored to client or project demands.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education, or a minimum of six months practical experience in janitorial duties.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Capability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of standard custodial best practices and commercial cleaning protocols.
• Proficiency in floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
• Experience working in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance environments.
