Job Details

• Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
• There are multiple shift options.
• Morning shift: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Mid shift: 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Evening shift: 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
• Pay rate is $12.75 per hour.
• Weekly pay is offered.

Role Summary

The janitor will handle general cleaning and upkeep for assigned spaces within one building or across several client locations. The work can vary based on customer needs, so flexibility and willingness to take on different cleaning tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep floors in clean condition by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming as needed.
• Use cleaning chemicals and powered equipment correctly to avoid damaging flooring and other surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entry areas.
• Remove and dispose of trash properly, including use of a compactor for certain materials.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass partitions with suitable tools and products.
• Perform spot cleaning on carpets and support carpet shampooing and extraction work.
• Restock tissue, paper goods, and restroom supplies.
• Work according to the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavier cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when required.
• Take on additional tasks based on the contract scope or customer requirements.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, or at least 6 months of experience in a janitorial role.
• Training will be provided on the job.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• You should be able to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Background

• Previous work in cleaning or janitorial services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with custodial duties and commercial cleaning expectations is helpful.
• Knowledge of floor maintenance methods such as buffing and waxing is a plus.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is desirable.
