About the Role
We are seeking a creative and meticulous Junior Architect to assist in designing and implementing workplace interior projects in Chennai. The role involves preparing architectural plans, coordinating with diverse project stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that designs adhere to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create architectural and interior design drawings tailored for office workspace projects.
- Design layouts for space planning, furniture arrangement, and workstation setups.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Contribute to 3D visualization tasks and assist in preparing presentations.
- Carry out frequent site visits and field inspections to gather measurements and oversee project progress.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout project cycles.
- Monitor ongoing project implementation to ensure the design is accurately executed.
- Identify on-site challenges and offer design-related solutions.
- Support senior architects and project managers to achieve timely project completion.
- Maintain up-to-date project documents and ensure all drawing revisions are properly recorded.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Have between 6 months to 2 years of experience in architecture or interior design fields.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with strong technical capability.
- Familiarity with office interiors, furniture layout planning, or workspace design is advantageous.
- Understanding of materials, measurements, and general construction processes.
- Preparedness to travel for site inspections and fieldwork.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
