Role Overview
As part of our global expansion, we are seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to join our fully remote team. This role suits ambitious developers enthusiastic about crafting modern, responsive websites and keen to hone their technical skills by collaborating with experienced designers, marketers, and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites tailored to healthcare, medical, and wellness clients.
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code.
- Develop landing pages, websites, and digital marketing materials aligned with campaign goals and branding.
- Collaborate closely with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to provide high-quality web experiences.
- Support SEO efforts, conversion rate optimization, and website performance enhancements.
- Engage in project discussions contributing ideas to improve user experience and functionality.
- Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring smooth operation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Adhere to accessibility, usability, and modern web development best practices.
- Assist in managing WordPress and other CMS platforms by implementing new pages, templates, content updates, and design improvements.
- Conduct testing across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistent functionality; troubleshoot and fix front-end bugs and UI issues.
- Participate in ongoing website maintenance and enhancements.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks; participate in code reviews and continuously refine coding standards and workflows.
Candidate Profile
- 0 to 2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance work, personal projects, or entry-level roles.
- Experience contributing to live websites or web applications is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
- Familiarity with modern JS frameworks such as React or Vue is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms preferred.
- Basic grasp of SEO best practices related to front-end development.
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
- Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Basic knowledge of performance optimization and cross-browser testing.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and capacity to work effectively in a remote setup.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continually improve.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Additional advantages include experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, WCAG accessibility standards, exposure to healthcare/pharmaceutical sectors, modern JavaScript tooling, fluency in English, and Arabic language skills.
