Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Chimney Technician to join our team in the Delhi-NCR region. This role involves comprehensive inspection, cleaning, repair, and installation of kitchen chimneys to ensure their effective operation and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth mechanical, electrical, and structural inspections using specialized tools including video cameras to detect blockages, soot deposits, cracks, or insufficient suction.
- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance by removing hazardous creosote, soot, oil accumulations employing brushes and vacuum equipment; dismantle and degrease components like fan blowers, baffle filters, and mesh filters chemically.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components such as PCBs, touch panels, motion sensors, and LED lights; overhaul motor blowers, their bearings, and auto-clean heating elements as necessary.
- Manage installation tasks, including fitting structural brackets, accurate positioning of chimneys above cooking surfaces, and sealing exhaust ducts and external cowls to prevent smoke backflow and block pest entry.
- Ensure safety by testing electrical earthing, assessing fire safety measures and ventilation effectiveness, while providing clients with maintenance recommendations.
Additional Information
Salary offered ranges between INR 18,000 to INR 25,000 per month.
