Overview
Northern News Services is hiring dependable, motivated kitchen team members for a sushi restaurant in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The role is suited to someone who can support a busy kitchen, follow food safety practices, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
What you will do
- Support day-to-day food preparation tasks.
- Prepare sushi rolls as part of the kitchen workflow.
- Keep up with work in a busy, high-volume kitchen setting.
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
What we are looking for
- Prior kitchen experience is an asset, though it is not mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
- Strong organizational habits.
- A solid work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving restaurant environment.
Schedule and workplace
