Role overview
As the Lead Paralegal, you will act as the central connector for attorneys, clients, and the Finch team, ensuring each matter moves steadily from onboarding through final resolution. This role focuses on keeping communication clear, managing expectations, and making sure lawyers always have the case details they need when they need them.
What you will do
- Act as the main point of contact between Finch, law firms, and clients.
- Keep clients informed at every stage of treatment and the case timeline through consistent, proactive outreach.
- Prepare thorough case progress summaries and share updates with attorneys and partner firms.
- Partner with case managers, intake specialists, and demand reviewers to keep work moving across teams.
- Spot potential delays early and step in to resolve issues before they impact case outcomes.
Team
You will be part of the Legal Operations team, which supports law firm partners and injured clients with a focus on accuracy, speed, and care. Finch is building a highly capable legal operations group and pairing it with technology to help more people with greater humanity.
Ideal background
- More than 10 years of paralegal experience, with preference for personal injury or other high-volume plaintiff work.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, and a proactive communication style.
- Ability to quickly earn trust with both attorneys and clients.
- Good understanding of why both client experience and case throughput matter.
- Availability to work Pacific Time (PST) hours to support client needs.
Compensation and benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $125,000, plus equity.
