About the Role
Atyeti, a global business and technology consultancy, is seeking an experienced Lead or Senior Low Latency Java Developer to build cutting-edge event-driven and reactive systems. The company supports a wide international presence and focuses on digital transformation for leading banks. This role is based in Pune, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale, complex event-driven systems with fault tolerance and global distribution, handling high-frequency message and event workflows.
- Leverage expertise in Java or C++ to create high-performance software emphasizing concurrency and networking protocols.
- Build ultra-low latency and high-throughput solutions primarily serving financial markets or big data analytics domains.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through agile practices and test-driven development methodologies.
- Apply deep understanding of CPU/GPU architecture, memory management including shared memory and memory-mapped files, plus networking protocols like TCP and UDP, alongside Linux internals.
- Utilize Java-specific knowledge such as garbage collection mechanisms, JNI, Java Unsafe, and JNR-FFI interfaces.
- Preferably have experience with Aeron messaging technology.
- Use scripting skills in Python, Kotlin, or Shell to support tooling and automation tasks.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning, problem-solving, and teamwork across complex business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Strong command of data structures and algorithms.
