Job Overview

This role demands proficient management of logistics tasks at our Moncton, New Brunswick site. Candidates must be fluent in English and hold a secondary school diploma with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. The position requires on-site presence with no remote work option.

Key Responsibilities

Gather orders and directions provided by clients to ensure accurate processing.
Plan and organize operational logistics effectively to meet organizational goals.
Direct and oversee logistical activities across departments.
Track and complete assigned work orders timely and accurately.
Coordinate and communicate with other departments to synchronize workflow.
Generate and submit comprehensive reports.
Maintain smooth operation and upkeep of computer hardware and machinery pertinent to logistics.
Keep detailed work logs and records for operational tracking.
Assign, coordinate, and review team workloads.
Schedule dispatches and monitor personnel allocation per work orders.
Monitor shipment progress and ensure compliance with cross-border dispatch regulations and highway trucking laws.
Record and manage mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and other operational expenses.

Required Skills and Experience

Proficient use of dispatch management software and shipment tracking tools.
Strong spreadsheet skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Reader for documentation purposes.
