About Crown
Crown is a leading building envelope contractor in Europe, providing roofing, cladding, and façade solutions across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. We undertake some of the most complex and high-profile construction projects, including hyperscale data centres and pharmaceutical and commercial developments.
Role Overview
We are looking for a diligent and organised Logistics & Materials Coordinator to join our team at the Blanchardstown, Dublin project site on a full-time, on-site basis. This position involves overseeing all logistics related to site deliveries and material movements, ensuring efficient and safe management in support of construction schedules. You will lead the logistics team on site, maintaining compliance with company processes and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage coordination of all material deliveries and movement on site.
- Lead and supervise the site logistics team, including Telehandler Operators, 360 Operators, Banksmen, and Spotters.
- Ensure correct receipt, inspection, and proper storage of materials.
- Oversee the safe unloading and transportation of materials to various work fronts.
- Track material usage and keep detailed delivery records.
- Submit delivery dockets and invoices to Head Office for processing.
- Verify that plant and equipment certifications are up to date.
- Ensure all logistics tasks comply with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and site safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with Site Management, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Site Management as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant experience in construction logistics, material coordination, or a similar site-based position.
- Proven track record in team leadership or supervision.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A solid understanding of construction-related health and safety regulations.
- Possession of a full, clean driving licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in roofing, cladding, or the wider building envelope sector.
- Experience working on large commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
Required Certifications
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) Certification
- 360 Excavator Operator Ticket
- Telehandler Operator Licence
- Safe Pass Card
- Working at Height Training Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
