Role Overview
The Maintenance Coordinator - Intermediate supports the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations. Responsibilities cover material procurement, inventory management, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves administrative duties related to work orders, invoices, and participation in process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and procure necessary materials and services for maintenance activities.
- Support supervisors and planners in scheduling and coordinating maintenance tasks with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the return and repair logistics including authorization, purchase order assignment, packaging, and shipping.
- Update daily work order statuses in the SAP system based on supervisor inputs.
- Ensure readiness of job packs for maintenance execution and coordinate material availability.
- Reconcile material and contract invoices, including verifying material deliveries.
- Maintain strong controls and contribute actively to the department's operational effectiveness.
About You
- Possess Nitec or Higher Nitec certification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Petrochemical or refining industry experience is advantageous.
- Exhibit effective teamwork and possess strong communication skills.
- Potential assignments include roles as Machinery Technician, Metals Technician, Instrumentation & Electrical Technician, or Power Distribution Technician.
