About the Role
Join Moreton Bay Retirement Living in Bongaree, Queensland as a full-time Maintenance Officer working 38 hours per week. This position offers salary packaging benefits, five weeks of annual leave, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive local community. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appeal of our outdoor spaces and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Enhance garden vitality through regular pruning, hedge trimming, fertilizing, and plant care.
- Manage outdoor cleanliness by removing garden debris, controlling weeds, and maintaining tidy pathways and common areas.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks utilizing your trade skills.
- Assist with minor repairs and day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule to keep facilities in top condition.
Candidate Profile
- Possess current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Understand Work Health and Safety requirements or have a willingness to obtain certification within a month.
- Hold a current driver’s licence.
- Have proven experience in maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping roles.
- Experience in aged care or community services is preferred.
- Hold valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available for this role.
