Role Summary
The Manager of Client Events will oversee comprehensive planning, logistics, and post-event analysis for Gucci Americas' client events including festivities, store inaugurations, and seasonal launches. Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager of Client Events and internal teams, this position ensures impeccable event execution, effective vendor and budget management, client engagement, and alignment with brand standards and business goals across all store locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement event strategies aligned with client engagement goals for various activations such as festivities and store openings.
- Manage complete event planning from creating detailed schedules and vendor coordination to overseeing on-site activities and staffing.
- Maintain comprehensive timelines and project plans to guarantee milestones and deadlines are met.
- Conduct site visits and operational evaluations to ensure readiness and adherence to brand standards.
- Oversee vendor relationships including selection, contracting with legal collaboration, briefing, negotiation, and performance assessment.
- Administer event budgets by monitoring expenses, processing invoices, and ensuring fiscal discipline.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Retail Leadership, Visual Merchandising, Security, Communications, and others to ensure coordinated support for event success.
- Support retail and client engagement teams by developing outreach materials, targeted client lists, and toolkits that enable consistent event execution.
- Collect and analyze event performance data to produce post-event reports highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years experience in experiential marketing or event production within the luxury sector with a consistent record of success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Extensive connections with premier industry vendors and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Fashion GPS.
- Strong passion and understanding of fashion, culture, and art.
- Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and team development skills.
- Experience collaborating with retail teams is advantageous.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative thinker with innovative approach to events.
- Effective collaborator adept at managing cross-departmental relationships.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
