Role overview
Advance Technology India is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Bengaluru operations, with work locations mentioned as Vidyaranyapura and Peenya. The role is centered on product design and engineering support, especially in environments linked to defence, avionics, and embedded electronics.
Core work
- Carry out mechanical design work, including part modelling, assembly creation, and drafting.
- Develop 2D and 3D drawings suitable for manufacturing.
- Support product development and manufacturing activities.
- Prepare reports and maintain technical documentation for products.
- Coordinate with vendors as part of the design and production process.
- Apply GD&T principles and follow established drawing standards.
Education and profile
Candidates should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred design background
Experience in defence and avionics design work is preferred, along with exposure to embedded electronics-related projects.
Tools and technical exposure
The role calls for familiarity with CAD and mechanical design tools, sheet metal work, 3D modelling, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, drafting, and other 3D design software. Experience with assembly design is also relevant.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range provided is INR 2,40,000 to INR 3,60,000 per year. Benefits include provident fund and health insurance.
