Job Overview
SGS is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for Multiskilled Team Member roles at its new laboratory in Holden Hill, Adelaide. The working environment is collaborative and supportive, dedicated to creating a positive workplace atmosphere. Candidates should demonstrate good literacy, teamwork skills, attention to detail, and initiative-taking. Full training is provided for new hires.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify received samples against accompanying documentation, noting any discrepancies or missing items.
- Load and unload samples onto drying racks, maintaining proper numerical sequencing.
- Milling samples and accurately transferring sub-samples into labeled packets in numerical order, adhering strictly to Quality Control protocols and preventing contamination.
- Gain understanding of laboratory sample analysis procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Formal qualifications and prior experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a Forklift Licence is preferred.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
- Physically capable to manage the physical demands of the role.
- Fulfillment of site-specific access criteria including training, induction, and medical checks.
