Role Summary
The Operator III position is critical in managing the recycling process production facility safely and efficiently, aligned with production goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Detect any quality issues during processing and notify the Supervisor promptly when uncertain.
- Enhance operational efficiency by strictly following standard operating procedures.
- Work towards optimizing cycle times and reducing operational costs.
- Engage actively with the team to perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Prepare the work area for operations or maintenance tasks, including starting up and shutting down equipment.
- Handle minor troubleshooting duties, report equipment malfunctions or statuses, and ensure smooth handovers for safe operations.
- Compile and deliver daily reports on machine production and efficiency to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of defective and acceptable parts produced during shifts.
- Communicate any abnormalities with machinery to the supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to improving productivity and process enhancements.
- Ensure work area cleanliness and proper housekeeping.
- Comply with all environmental, occupational safety, and health standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a diploma degree.
- At least one year of professional experience in a related recycling or production field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of plant operations and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with operational safety protocols.
- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
