Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Practice Lead specializing in Catastrophe Modelling and Exposure Management to join a leading global organization focused on data, analytics, and digital transformation within the insurance sector. This role involves spearheading solution strategies, managing extensive transformation programs, and collaborating with international stakeholders to develop scalable, innovative products tailored for insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to clients on transformation roadmaps, development of target operating models, and enhancing catastrophe modelling and exposure management capabilities.
• Identify and shape new solution opportunities, clearly defining project scopes and establishing actionable business objectives.
• Innovate solutions that respond to new risks, regulatory demands, and market shifts within the insurance landscape.
• Lead the end-to-end design and deployment processes of catastrophe modelling and exposure management technologies for a variety of insurance entities.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from initial problem identification through to deployment and ongoing support.
• Direct the preparation and delivery of requests for proposals, client presentations, and demonstrations, effectively communicating the business value proposition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years professional experience in consulting, solution design, or transformation roles with at least 7 years focused on catastrophe modelling and exposure management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of catastrophe modelling and exposure practices across insurance, reinsurance, and brokerage firms.
• Familiarity with modern automation tools, analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, digital platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and contemporary data integration techniques.
• Proven leadership in solution architecture development, response to requests for proposals, proposal creation, and pre-sales engagements.
• Exceptional communication abilities, strong consulting aptitude, and expert stakeholder management with senior-level executives.
• Experience successfully leading cross-functional teams located globally and managing significant transformation initiatives.
