Role Overview

We invite a committed and skilled Process and Improvement Lead focused on advancing operational excellence within the company. This role emphasizes Lean principles, process enhancement, and nurturing an ongoing culture of improvement by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to uncover and implement lasting improvements in business practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate and consistently promote a culture focused on continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Analyze operational processes to detect inefficiencies and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives employing Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Conduct root cause analysis sessions and cross-departmental improvement meetings.
  • Collaborate with leadership to introduce and sustain effective and practical solutions.
  • Track progress of improvement projects and evaluate benefit realization.
  • Develop and deliver continuous improvement training and learning resources including SOPs, user guides, and workshops.
  • Support teams with coaching on Lean and Six Sigma methods to maintain momentum of improvements.
  • Create and update process maps and standard operating procedures to reflect current practices.
  • Drive automation and digital enhancement projects in partnership with technology teams, including RPA and AI integration.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' hands-on experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process improvement roles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is highly preferred.
  • Skilled in process mapping, SOP creation, and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, warehousing, or transport sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Adaptability with willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proactive self-starter with an enthusiasm for operational excellence and continuous personal development.
