Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Product Designer who will be instrumental in creating and refining product lines through inventive design, focused development, and strong leadership. This role involves overseeing product progression from conceptualization and sketching to prototype creation and full-scale production. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, balanced in approach, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively without extensive supervision. Partnering closely with multiple departments, the Product Designer will also contribute significantly to nurturing emerging talent.

Execute hands-on design and development tasks through all stages of assigned projects.
Deliver detailed product specifications, digital visualizations, and presentation resources, adhering strictly to schedules and production targets.
Collaborate with Designers, Merchandising, Sourcing, Packaging, and Graphics teams to translate product ideas into finished goods, ensuring consistency, precision, and organizational excellence throughout.
Prepare products for presentations, photo shoots, trade shows, and shipment; additionally, monitor competitors’ offerings and industry trends to inform smart design choices.

Requirements

Minimum of five years’ experience in product design, development, or related creative disciplines.
Educational background in Design, Art, Fashion, or allied fields is favorable.
Foundational expertise in design fundamentals, color theory, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Basic grasp of product or technical design principles.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas through sketches and digital renderings.
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Strong adherence to project timelines and production objectives.
Receptive to constructive criticism and committed to continuous improvement.
Prior experience in décor, giftware, gourmet food, or floral product design is preferred.
Proven capacity to collaborate across diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving aptitude coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated reliability and a robust work ethic.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary range is $55,000 to $65,000, with exact remuneration determined by experience, skill level, internal equity, and legal guidelines.
