Role Overview

As a Product Engineer working on the stagewise IDE, you will contribute to our open-source platform which manages coding agents, aiming to establish the premier agentic IDE that developers rely on for AI-powered software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end features across React, TypeScript, and Node.js technology stack.
• Manage GitHub issues throughout their lifecycle from backlog to deployment.
• Evaluate and enhance agent-produced pull requests.
• Use stagewise to build stagewise itself, embodying continuous integration.
• Regularly benchmark competitive products to identify win opportunities.
• Enhance platform performance, reliability, and the overall developer experience.
• Design scalable, reusable UX patterns for consistent product growth.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in TypeScript and React with production-level application experience.
• Solid experience in Node.js development.
• Daily user familiar with agentic coding tools.
• Independent project ownership and proactive drive.
• Keen insight into creating highly usable, delightful products.
• Fluent in English and possesses basic skills in German.

Applicants should showcase notable projects on their GitHub, reflecting their best work. Those without such demonstrated experience may not be suitable.
