Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team in Kochi, India. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and priorities, aligning development efforts with customer and business needs within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and convey a compelling product vision, strategic roadmap, and measurable business objectives.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer feedback.
• Convert business requirements into precise user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Engage with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to refine and validate requirements.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical tasks to optimize product impact.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews.
• Ensure delivered features meet business goals through thorough validation.
• Make strategic decisions on scope, priorities, and release scheduling.
• Continuously monitor product performance and integrate customer insights into future planning.
• Collaborate with UX, Architecture, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Communicate progress, risks, and updates effectively to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 to 10 years of overall IT experience.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and product management concepts.
• Experience managing product backlogs and working closely with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Analytical mindset with solid decision-making capabilities.

Technical Skills and Tools

• Proficient use of Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Confluence for backlog and workflow management.
• Familiarity with product roadmap and backlog management software.
• Preferred background in software development, quality engineering, system analysis, or solution design.
• Experience in the automotive domain, specifically connected vehicles, telematics, mobility solutions, embedded systems, or digital product development.
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile frameworks.
• Understanding of data-driven product management and Agile performance metrics.
• Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps practices.

Additional Information

This full-time position requires working onsite in Kochi, India. The role demands strong product backlog management, stakeholder coordination, and Agile delivery experience with a technical background in development, QA, architecture, or business analysis. Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.
