Role Overview

The Production Head role is a full-time, on-premise position based at Meghmani LLP's Dahej facilities. The incumbent will manage comprehensive production operations for paracetamol offerings, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality, regulatory, and safety standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production activities, refining processes for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and collaborating closely with quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain, and environmental health and safety teams.

This leader will supervise daily plant output, lead investigations into operational issues through root-cause analyses, enforce corrective measures, and champion ongoing improvements. Mentorship of production staff, strict enforcement of SOPs and GMP protocols, and support for regulatory and client audits are integral aspects of this position.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven leadership ability with expertise in managing and developing production teams.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing processes, particularly within APIs or paracetamol production.
• Experience maintaining compliance with GMP, US-FDA, or equivalent regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in production scheduling, process optimization, and maximizing capacity with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, resolve issues effectively, and lead continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with QA, maintenance, logistics, and senior management.
• Academic credentials: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or closely related technical disciplines.
• Substantial production leadership experience in large-scale pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing setups.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dahej with availability for urgent operational and plant emergencies.
