Job Overview
Ujax Engineering is seeking a dependable and skilled Corporate Driver to become part of our team. This position entails more than just driving; it involves facilitating daily operations by ensuring the secure transport of personnel, equipment, and company resources while keeping the company vehicle in optimal condition.
Main Responsibilities
- Transport staff, equipment, and project materials safely between various job locations.
- Execute official company errands including pickups, deliveries, and dispatch assignments.
- Maintain the company vehicle's cleanliness and presentability at all times.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks such as oil, water, tires, fuel levels, and overall vehicle condition daily.
- Report immediately any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs.
- Plan routes efficiently and safely to avoid delays and ensure punctuality in movement around Abuja.
- Adhere to traffic and safety laws and exhibit proper driving conduct.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess at least a Higher National Diploma (HND).
- Hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate proven driving experience.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of Abuja's roads, landmarks, routes, and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a clean driving record and responsible driving behavior.
- Experience in facility management is a plus.
- Be punctual, well-organized, respectful, and capable of working with little supervision.
- Display professional communication skills when interacting with staff, clients, and vendors.
Compensation and Location
This full-time position based in Abuja offers a monthly salary ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦150,000.
