About the Role
This contract position based in Toronto, Ontario requires a Project Analyst to develop and sustain governance frameworks, enhance reporting systems to monitor performance, foster transparency, and guide decision-making. The role demands leadership in comprehensive portfolio planning and execution, managing interdependencies, mitigating risks, and optimizing use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert organizational goals into actionable plans, track progress, adjust strategies accordingly, and align activities with long-range objectives.
- Create and present executive-level reports and dashboards that clearly outline progress, key insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Forge robust relationships with business units and senior leadership to influence outcomes and ensure understanding and execution of strategic priorities.
- Offer thought leadership and strategic advice by integrating analytical findings into programs aimed at operational excellence and sustainable growth.
- Adapt efficiently to ambiguity and last-minute shifts, remain updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, and modify plans as necessary.
- Perform analyses to identify opportunities for capability improvements and drive efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project management or as a project analyst.
- Proven experience in developing business cases, collecting requirements, and managing financial aspects.
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma.
- Experience in the banking sector and PMP certification are advantageous but not required.
