Role Overview
The Foundation seeks a dedicated and empathetic Project Associate to oversee the operations of the Apna Ghar – Transit Home project in Prayagraj. This role involves managing daily activities, maintaining relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and ensuring smooth transit home functioning aligned with set procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations of the transit home adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Build and sustain effective partnerships with hospitals, doctors, and service entities to promptly address patient needs.
- Ensure the transit home remains fully occupied while catering to the requirements of patients and their caregivers.
- Lead a small team of service providers, ensuring timely allocation of resources.
- Participate actively in other CSR activities at the project location.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- In-depth awareness of the healthcare environment in the region and familiarity with various programs targeting non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
- Strong abilities in project management and supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities for collaboration with cross-functional groups.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing finances and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, fluent English, and local language skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational background: MSW, MPH, MA in Social Science, or MBA.
- Relevant experience: 1 to 2 years, preferably within the healthcare sector focused on cancer and other NCDs.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary will correspond to the candidate's qualifications and experience. Benefits include group life insurance, accidental insurance, travel reimbursement, medical insurance, and leave entitlements according to company policy. The role entails approximately 40% travel.
