Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background who can effectively connect business operations and technical teams. This role requires knowledge in software, technology platforms, and IT processes along with operational expertise to lead projects from initiation through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple projects throughout all phases, from discovery and conceptualization to implementation and evaluation, ensuring product ownership post-launch.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional Restaurant Support Center (RSC) and field operations teams to successfully test, implement, and integrate new systems, processes, and tools in restaurants.
• Conduct assessments, market visits, hands-on training, and operational discussions to validate and refine operational procedures for testing or national rollout.
• Develop quality deliverables such as detailed project plans, status reports, and updates for steering committees; support implementation and communications planning with corporate and field stakeholders.
• Create training materials, operating guides, and quick reference sheets in partnership with cross-functional teams, and design strategies to drive system adoption.
• Oversee calendar management, coordinate weekly/monthly communications, and facilitate system conference calls and webinars.
• Provide timely updates to departmental leadership on project progress, issues, milestones, and timelines.
• Support franchisees, company field leadership, and operations teams by addressing inquiries and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Restaurant/Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven project management experience leading cross-functional teams through all project stages.
• Strong understanding of software development, system integrations, IT infrastructure, and technology solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts while maintaining an operational and business focus.
• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant operations experience including supervisory roles at multiple levels.
• Business acumen with skills in organizing, planning, influencing, visioning, conflict resolution, and talent development.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities fostering innovative solutions through collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly build strong relationships across the organization.
• Effective influencing, consulting, and communication skills to engage and motivate others.

Work Location and Expectations

This position is based primarily at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center located at 1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017. The role requires working onsite at least four days per week, with potential changes subject to management approval.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $105,000 to $184,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The position also includes a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary contingent on company and individual performance. While salary details exclude benefits, employees have access to comprehensive benefits including parental leave, Employee Assistance Programs, 401k company match, and other valuable offerings.
