Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Administrator to become part of a busy manufacturing setup in Dublin. This position plays a crucial role in handling daily procurement activities, managing stock, and coordinating the supply chain. Collaboration with internal teams and suppliers is key to maintaining continuous supply and ensuring accurate deliveries.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders in line with manufacturing demands.
- Collaborate with internal departments to procure materials as well as overheads.
- Execute MRP processes within SAP to guarantee on-time and complete order fulfillment.
- Track supplier performance and monitor purchase order deadlines.
- Ensure SAP data is meticulously maintained to aid accurate forecasting and planning.
- Address supplier-related issues and complaints, implementing solutions to avoid future recurrence.
- Coordinate with Finance to maintain procurement compliance standards.
- Assist with broader supply chain and operational tasks when necessary.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least two years’ professional experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Proficient in SAP systems, especially MRP and purchasing modules, with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with effective stakeholder management.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
