Overview
The company is engaged in producing a variety of food products for retail and food service markets, delivering both branded and private label items to clients across the UK and worldwide.
Salary and Benefits

Working Hours
The role operates on a fixed shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all manufactured products adhere strictly to customer quality, safety, and legal standards
- Collect product samples for routine microbiological testing and manage retained sample organization
- Assist during site inspections and audits while supporting Technical and Production teams
- Maintain an active technical presence on the production floor throughout shifts to provide support
- Establish and improve quality standards on the factory floor via coaching and sharing expertise with production staff
- Maintain audit readiness on the factory floor every day of the year
- Participate in daily management meetings
- Coordinate CCP audits and related training according to schedule
- Support collection of taste panel samples, including end-of-line panels
- Perform hygiene and GMP audits; address and resolve any non-conformances with production and engineering departments
- Conduct daily black bag audits to eliminate potential foreign objects and report findings to production teams and meetings
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification or degree in Food Science
- Experience in the food industry or a comparable role is preferred
- Basic certification in Food Hygiene
- Competency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Capability to capture and upload photographs for use in reports
