Job Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out inspection tasks with a high degree of professionalism.
- Conduct specific inspections of materials, equipment, and construction or installation activities on site.
- Prepare necessary Quality Records and report non-conformities to the QC Supervisor when required.
- Verify compliance with the Quality Control Plan, review associated documentation, and ensure proper procedures and equipment are used in tests, controls, and inspections. Maintain documentation certifying these activities.
- Guarantee accurate execution of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Confirm special processes and validate the qualifications of the personnel involved.
- Inspect power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, cables, and other related components.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and verify ratings and connection materials.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in the Oil and Gas construction sector.
- Certification such as CSWIP or AWS is mandatory.
- Knowledgeable about engineering standards and codes relevant to QC surveillance in offshore projects.
- Possess GRE/GRP inspection training certification.
- Experience with inspections at construction or vendor sites is required.
