Quality Controller

Role Overview

The Quality Controller plays a vital role in upholding and advancing the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process. This position is responsible for setting, tracking, and enforcing quality standards within factory operations, ensuring every item meets top-tier criteria before delivery to customers.

Key Duties

• Oversee product quality at multiple production phases.
• Provide training to factory quality control personnel on company-specific quality standards and usage of quality tools.
• Engage actively in product development and sampling stages to verify sample quality ahead of design and fit approvals.
• Attend pre-production meetings to identify potential quality issues and ensure factory compliance with corrective actions.
• Conduct in-line and end-of-line inspections on the sewing floor.
• Execute final quality checks in the finishing department for packed items.
• Perform quality audits throughout manufacturing to confirm outward garment standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of garment construction for effective sample evaluation.
• Fundamental understanding of the garment development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with production processes.
• Proficiency in AQL standards and ability to carry out in-line, end-line, and final inspections.
• Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to work under pressure.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Between 5 to 7 years of experience in a related quality control role.
