Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor derivatives and margin trading activities to detect unusual market behaviors, potential manipulations, and emerging risk scenarios as they occur.
- Create, refine, and upgrade quantitative risk models, dashboards, automated alerts, and monitoring tools to enhance risk identification.
- Conduct daily assessments of trading incidents, perform root cause analyses, and suggest preventive measures to bolster operational stability.
- Generate precise risk reports and promptly communicate insights to stakeholders to enable informed decisions.
- Investigate and apply AI-driven and automated methods to advance trading surveillance, risk monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Stay updated on market developments, trading patterns, and macroeconomic events, proactively sharing relevant insights impacting risk exposure.
- Formulate, implement, and regularly improve risk policies, procedures, and monitoring frameworks aligned with shifting market conditions and organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in quantitative risk management, derivatives trading, financial markets, or related fields.
- Strong academic qualifications in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or similarly quantitative disciplines.
- Deep understanding of derivatives products, margin trading, and principles of financial risk management.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency derivatives markets; knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems is advantageous.
- Experience in building quantitative models, analytical tools, dashboards, or automated monitoring systems.
- Competence with scripting, automation, or artificial intelligence technologies applied to financial risk supervision is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an aptitude for interpreting complex market happenings and delivering actionable insights.
- Willingness to work rotating schedules covering five days per week, including occasional weekends and public holidays, abiding by local labor laws.
