About the role
FVN Research is creating a carefully selected public markets research team. The initiative is independent and centered on structured investment analysis, market research, and quantitative research processes. The immediate focus is on establishing a strong research base through disciplined analysis, alpha generation, backtesting, and polished research outputs across public markets.
Role overview
As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to both fundamental and quantitative workstreams. The role spans investment research, macro and sector analysis, signal-based research, backtesting, investment memo preparation, deal-level insights, and producing research that is ready for publication. The environment is serious, output-focused, and built on clear thinking.
Who this role is for
This opportunity is aimed at motivated students and early-career candidates, ideally with a background in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with Python, Excel, valuation, statistics, backtesting, investment writing, or data analysis is helpful, but the team places greater value on reliability, intellectual integrity, initiative, and a sincere interest in public markets.
