Retail Supervisor

Position Overview

We are inviting applications for a Retail Supervisor role at our store located on Greenwood Avenue, Hull. This is a full-time, permanent position entailing 39 hours over five days per week with flexible shift schedules including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management team to operate an efficient retail environment delivering excellent customer service.
• Assume full accountability for store operations during the manager's absence, including customer care, prompt handling of deliveries, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, ordering stock, and developing retail assistants.
• Manage operational costs encompassing shrinkage, waste, and payroll expenses.

Candidate Requirements

• High integrity and reliability, being a pivotal team member.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience in retail or comparable fields preferred but not mandatory for those eager to start a management career.
• Successful completion of a Basic DBS check or Disclosure Scotland check is a prerequisite for employment, ensuring no disqualifying convictions.
