Primary Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver 16-18-foot box trucks safely on residential streets and tight areas.
• Execute daily routes to collect clothing, small furniture, and household donations.
• Navigate local streets efficiently, following GPS instructions as needed.
• Complete all necessary daily documentation including vehicle inspections, delivery and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with other drivers by assisting with workload when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of trucks between shifts.
• Ensure vehicles comply with company policies and state safety regulations.
• Employment contingent on possession of a DOT Medical Card, clean motor vehicle report, and passing required drug screening.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with the assigned metro area and rules applicable in Canada or relevant provinces.
• Keen understanding of safety regulations and company requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative, demonstrate responsibility, and maintain accountability.
• Experience driving and operating 16-18 foot box trucks independently.
• Proficiency with two-way communication devices and GPS tools.
• Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Competent at oral and written communication, including creating logs, reports, and interpreting varied instructions.
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record (3-5 years). Must be at least 21 years old.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of truck driving experience with 16-18 foot box trucks preferred.
• Clean driving history for 3-5 years is required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Capability to pull or push pallet jacks.
• Frequent standing throughout the workday.

Work Location and Travel

The role is based at 2149 Lauwiliwili Street Bays 2 & 3, Kapolei, HI 96707 with travel limited to essential functions within the geographic area or as otherwise assigned.
