Role overview
This position is focused on driving business expansion by combining technical knowledge with commercial insight for Bureau Veritas services. The role acts as a bridge between customers and the operational and technical teams responsible for service delivery.
What you will do
- Contribute to sales efforts in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) market.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key accounts.
- Help grow services with both new and existing customers.
- Monitor incoming leads and gather pre-tender details.
- Study client workflows and needs, then convert them into compliant service proposals.
- Draft techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions in line with company standards.
- Attend client discussions, technical clarification meetings, and presentations as needed.
- Work closely with operations, auditors, inspectors, and subject matter experts to confirm offer feasibility and accuracy.
- Assist with contract review, post-award scope adjustments, and technical clarifications.
- Support market intelligence activities, capture customer feedback, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures, accreditation requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Energy, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales, certification, inspection, testing, or engineering services.
- Prior exposure to oil & gas tenders, clients, or end users.
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within the Kingdom for around 30% to 40% of the time, mainly across the Central and Western regions.
- Strong understanding of technical matters along with commercial judgement.
- Good customer relationship management capability.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with clients, auditors, and internal technical teams.
- Capability in proposal development, tender support, and solution-based selling.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong integrity and compliance awareness.
