Role Overview
This opening is for an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery in Chennai. The role requires strong facilitation, coaching, and coordination skills to help teams stay aligned, remove blockers, and deliver quality outcomes within planned timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Run core Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Guide teams in Agile practices and support them in resolving impediments that slow delivery.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Scrum ways of working and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators and help teams achieve timely, high-quality delivery.
- Support Agile transformation efforts across teams and projects.
- Encourage feedback-driven improvement through retrospectives and follow-up actions.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development projects, business analysis, or software testing.
- Ability to manage tasks with persistence and flexibility.
- Hands-on experience in coaching Agile teams and removing blockers.
- Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives.
- CSM or PSM certification.
