Key Responsibilities

• Design and steer the overarching SEO strategy encompassing technical, content, and off-site initiatives across Inkitt's platforms including Inkitt, Galatea, and CandyJar.
• Perform in-depth technical SEO audits to enhance crawl efficiency, indexing, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals metrics; maintain structured data and sitemap health.
• Develop scalable keyword strategies, identify high-impact topics, and oversee content optimization to attract and expand new audience segments.
• Execute on-page SEO improvements such as optimizing metadata, heading structures, alt text, schema markup, and internal linking for crucial landing pages and story collections.
• Establish and manage SEO performance dashboards, monitor KPIs using tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, and communicate insights to executive leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to incorporate SEO best practices and implement impactful experiments.
• Lead initiatives that focus on content freshness, link-building authority, and outreach efforts to boost Inkitt’s online visibility and domain authority.
• Analyze competitors and market trends to benchmark performance and uncover new opportunities.
• Drive continuous SEO experimentation with site structure, copy, and technical improvements to generate measurable organic growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6 to 8+ years of comprehensive SEO experience with a proven track record of driving substantial growth for high-traffic consumer or content-rich brands.
• Expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics, proficient with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Proven ability to work closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize, scope, and execute SEO enhancements.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities and experience measuring SEO impact.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth or startup environments is preferred.
• Action-oriented with a focus on delivering tangible results.
• Strategic thinker skilled in balancing data analysis with hands-on content optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
