Job Overview
The SEO Specialist will spearhead the development, execution, and management of SEO strategies aimed at enhancing the visibility of the company’s digital assets. This includes both on-page and off-page SEO activities, conducting keyword research, performing technical audits, and working closely with content and marketing teams to maximize organic reach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analyze data to uncover content optimization opportunities.
- Apply on-page SEO tactics such as optimizing meta tags, internal linking structures, and schema markup implementation.
- Carry out technical SEO audits and liaise with development teams to address issues affecting site speed, mobile usability, crawlability, and indexing.
- Oversee off-page SEO efforts including link-building and digital public relations initiatives.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report SEO performance utilizing tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Keep abreast of updates in search engine algorithms, industry trends, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators to design SEO-focused content strategies.
- Analyze competitors and market benchmarks to discover potential SEO opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SEO or digital marketing roles.
- Deep understanding of search engine ranking algorithms, critical SEO factors, and effective optimization methods.
- Proficient with SEO analysis and monitoring tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Familiarity with basic HTML, CSS, and content management systems including WordPress and Drupal.
- Strong analytical capabilities and reporting proficiency.
- Applicants must currently reside in Qatar.
Preferred Certifications
- Certification in Google Analytics (GA4)
- Training in Google Search Console
- HubSpot SEO Certification
- Certified SEMrush SEO Toolkit User
- Yoast SEO Certification for WordPress
- Advanced Google Ads Certification to support SEM coordination (advantageous)
