Job Overview
The Site Engineer role entails supervising construction site activities to ensure that interior fit-out projects are completed timely, within budget, and meet stringent quality standards. The position demands technical know-how, proactive problem solving, and effective multi-tasking across various site functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and construction work.
- Ensure all tasks comply with design plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers onsite.
- Track project progress, create reports, and update management on schedules and issues.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Perform site inspections and address technical or operational challenges promptly.
- Check incoming materials for accuracy, proper storage, and correct usage.
- Support resource planning including manpower and equipment allocation.
- Keep detailed records such as site reports and checklists.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the UAE within interior fit-out or construction site management.
- In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out construction, materials, and MEP coordination.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is essential.
