Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive data pipelines that extract, process, and transform data from multiple sources such as files, streaming data, APIs, and various database types into the Snowflake platform.
- Create and optimize ELT/ETL processes leveraging Snowflake SQL, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, as well as cloud-native orchestration technologies.
- Build scalable data models and layered schemas (including staging, curated, and consumption stages) to facilitate analytics and reporting requirements.
- Develop business logic and data transformations using SQL and Python, including implementing Snowflake user-defined functions (UDFs) and stored procedures.
- Enhance Snowflake system efficiency by tuning queries, managing warehouse sizing, configuring clustering, and overseeing resource utilization to balance performance and cost.
- Ensure integration of Snowflake with cloud environments and services on AWS and Azure, such as object storage and other data integration tools.
Qualifications and Requirements
