Role overview
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Software Development Engineer I role based in Hyderabad. The position sits within Amazon’s technology organization, where the team builds products and systems that support customers, sellers, and internal operations at scale. The work involves solving complex engineering problems, operating in a fast-moving environment, and contributing to features and services that may move from idea to delivery quickly.
What you will do
- Partner with engineers from different disciplines to design, develop, and launch new products and services.
- Build and improve technology solutions in a large-scale distributed computing environment.
- Create systems that can make predictions and handle very high volume, speed, and scale.
- Develop distributed storage, indexing, and query solutions that are resilient, efficient, cost-conscious, and simple to operate.
- Translate broad problem statements into sound technical designs and code the right solution.
- Contribute in an agile setup to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
Contract details and opportunity
