Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for PlayStation’s commerce platform using contemporary web frameworks such as React.
• Implement real-time personalization features that tailor the storefronts based on player behaviors.
• Collaborate closely with designers and UX researchers to translate intuitive and visually appealing interfaces into reality.
• Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and guarantee smooth end-to-end system performance.
• Advocate for frontend quality through rigorous testing, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement of UI architecture and developer workflows.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in frontend development focusing on customer-oriented web applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and experienced with frameworks like React.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, browser performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience in API integration and familiarity with design system-driven workflows.
• Skilled in building, testing, and deploying mobile applications.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and refined visual design.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Testing Library.
• Experience with internationalization (i18n) and performance analysis tools.
• A keen eye for UI/UX design and enthusiasm for close collaboration with design teams.
• Exposure to frontend observability solutions like Sentry or Lighthouse.
• Basic understanding or interest in backend development and full-stack technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this full-time onsite role in Dublin is €69,500 to €104,300 EUR annually. Salary is determined by multiple factors including skills, experience, location, and company policies regarding hybrid work. The position includes access to an extensive benefits package comprising paid time off, wellness programs, and exclusive employee discounts on Sony products. Eligibility for bonus compensation is also possible.
